Vilas Gadkari, Partner, Brevan Howard
Mr Gadkari is currently a partner at Brevan Howard Asset Mgt LLP.
Mr Gadkari was a founding partner of Rubicon Fund Management LLP, a global macro hedge fund. Before joining Rubicon, Mr Gadkari was Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Salomon Brothers Asset Management Ltd. from 1994-1999.
Prior to joining Salomon Brothers he was director in the Salomon Brothers Research Department where he worked in the area of global fixed income investment strategies with particular emphasis on risk management of multicurrency portfolios.
Mr. Gadkari received his Bachelors of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in India. He also received a Masters of Science in Operations Research from Rutgers University and spent three years as doctoral student at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
