Pratham Wins CNN-IBN Indian of the Year Award

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh presented the Pratham team with the award at a ceremony in Mumbai on December 21.The CNN-IBN award honors and recognizes Indians whose extraordinary endeavours have built brand India. Winners are chosen through a rigorous four-step process. Other winners this year include Rahul Gandhi (Politics), Saina Nehwal (Sports), the Satyam revival team (Business), and AR Rahman (Entertainment).
